Therapy with Lynn Malbeuf

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the chaos of life’s challenges, or uncertain about where to turn next, know that there’s hope and help available. As you take the courageous step toward seeking support, I want you to know that you’re not alone in this journey. You may have been carrying that weight in your heart for some time now, unsure of which path to take or if things will ever improve. Together, we can navigate through the uncertainties and find the clarity and strength you seek.

My journey as a therapist has been deeply influenced by my experiences as a mother, educator, outreach counsellor and visitation supervisor. I have walked alongside children, youth, and families dealing with various life challenges, including issues around coming out, transitioning, separation/divorce, high-conflict parenting, and interpersonal violence. My therapy approach with children is play-based, providing a creative and engaging space for exploration, and healing. I understand firsthand the complexities of family life and the importance of nurturing healthy relationships.

When we work together, you’ll find a safe and compassionate space where you can freely express yourself. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of growth, resilience, and transformation. You deserve to live a life filled with authenticity, connection, and empowerment, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Outside of Work

I wear many hats in life – mother, sister, aunt, friend and partner. I am an adventurer at heart and I love to explore and experience different cultures and places. Most recently, I have enjoyed travelling to Mexico and experiencing the unique and vibrant culture there. When at home in Vancouver, I enjoy sea kayaking and how it has allowed me to intimately explore British Columbia’s Pacific Coast by water.

As a Gemini, my love for change has been a constant thread throughout my diverse experiences. I’ve embraced numerous transitions, from owning and operating a coffee shop and a bed and breakfast, to managing various childcare facilities, and dedicating many years to working in Community Services. Amidst these changes, my unwavering love for people has remained a cornerstone in my life. My foundation is built on the cherished connections with friends and family, who I consider my greatest treasures.

Lynn is currently accepting clients. She works in our office and online on Mondays & Fridays.
